Monument Valley and 4-corners-monument

After our trip to White Sands fell through, we decided to take a 1 1/2 day trip to northern Arizona.

On our way up north we stopped in Flagstaff for some snacks and drinks and even drove part of Route 66.

We headed to 4-corners-monument first and we got super lucky, because we arrived 30min before it closed. Its the only place in the USA, where 4 states meet. We were able to stand in 4 states at the same time and jump between them within seconds.

We headed on to Kayena, where we spent the night in a hotel, before heading out in the morning. We went to Monument Valley, where we had reserved a Jeep-Tour. Those tours are held by Native Americans off road and its super awesome. They help you get the perfect shot, but also tell you a lot of the history.

We had head back to Phoenix right after tour, but it was so worth it.
