Barcelona

From Madrid we took a flight to Barcelona, where we spent a few more days.

18.July 2017

Since I couldn’t fall asleep for a long time, my friends got up in the morning and decided to walk around the city for a little bit.

We spent the afternoon at the beach, but I left after a little while, because I don’t like sand and I had to get ready anyways. We visited the Sagrada de Familia in the evening and once we were done there we decided to walk all the way to the Venetian gates and the fountains. But once we got there, we found out that there was no light-/music show at the fountain that night and so we returned to our hostel for another night.

19.July 2017

Today started like yesterday. While I slept until noon, my friends explored the city some more. After our lunch together we decided to take the subway to Park de Guell and after a little hike we got there. The view was amazing and we definitely enjoyed it.

We returned to the hostel for some much needed dinner and then walked around the city for a little bit. We saw some cool museums and shopping streets and ended up at some cute little fountains. Late at night we returned to our hostel and went straight to bed.

20.July 2017

Today was no different than the last two days, while I slept in, my friends were going around the city. Around 2pm we left the hostel to walk to Camp Nou. We stopped at a mall on our way to get some lunch.

Since we bought tickets for the Camp Nou Experience ahead of time, we were able to just walk in and start the self-guided tour. Although I am not a huge soccer/football fan, it was amazing to see such a huge stadium from the inside and all also a little bit behind the scenes.

Once again we walked back to the hostel for our dinner, before we walked back to the Venetian gates and the Fonta Magic one more time and this time we made sure, that the light and music show was for sure on. The show is amazing and definitely worth watching for a little while. But it was time to return to the hostel shortly afterwards to pack our staff and go to bed a little bit earlier.

21.July 2017

We got up around 6am to take the subway from our hostel to the airport. Our vacation came to an end and it was time to return back home. Since I had a lack of sleep, I was asleep 90% of the flight, but my friends entertained themselves. The flight was nice and we arrived safely in Vienna.
