My host family and I wanted to take one last trip to Disneyland Anaheim before the annual passes expired, but as always it didn’t go 100% as we planned.

In the afternoon I packed our van and after a quick stop at Ninjitsu (where I kind of broke the van – the park break didn’t get out and blocked all 4 wheels), we finally hit the road to the happiest place on earth. It was kind of a long drive, but the kids were asleep pretty soon and my hostmum and I had a long talk. When we finally found our hotel (it was not where we thought it would be), we finally got to go to sleep.

We got up pretty early and after a nice breakfast we took the hotel shuttle to Disneyland and off we went.
We started in Disneyland itself and around noon after a few major rides (tea cups, dumbo, snow white), we decided to go to California Adventure because V. is finally tall enough to ride a few more rides. While I went on the Ariel ride with A., my hostmum and V. went on the jumping jelly fishes. After this we met at the golden Zephyr. Those are usually shut down when we are at Disneyland. Just a few more rides on Ariel later, we got on the way to the Hyperion to watch Frozen – Live. It was a good show, but super crowded. So we went to get lunch and during lunch my hostmum and I took turns on the Grizzly Bear Ride. It is a water ride and was a nice cool off.
After lunch it was time to return to Disneyland and ride some big people rides. So we went on Matterhorn Bobsleds and then we waited for Haunted Mansion.
The girls werent too happy about that ride, so we decided to go back to the fantasyland. So we went on the Storyteller boats and the train and then it was time for dinner and to leave the park, because they had a special halloween party, that would’ve cost about 100$/person.
So went to get dinner in Downtown Disney at the Jazz Kitchen Express and then we went home right away. After we walked all the way home and we thought there is a shooting infront of our hotel (it was the firework from Disneyland), the evening took a quick turn…

Over night all 4 of us started throwing up seemingly having the stomach flu. So no fun for us rather just a day in bed.
23.October 2016
I still didnt feel very well, but we were supposed to meet my hostmums cousin so I had no choice then going to Disneyland. This day was not a lot of fun for me, since I couldnt ride very much due to my unwell being. But in the morning my hk got a make over in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiuqe. Which means they got treated like princess including make up and hair done.
So while everybody else enjoyed all the rides I only joined them for a few rides and rather took care of the girls and/or the stroller.
In the evening we went for dinner at my favorite restaurant „Goofey’s Kitchen“. Since I was still sick I couldn’t enjoy the food as much as I wanted to. But I still got a good dinner. After dinner we went back to the park so the others could ride some more rides and we watched the firework. Around 11pm we went back to the hotel.

We spontaneously decided to go the parks before we made our way home. So we rode quite a few rides in Disneyland and even went on a rollercoaster. But it was not too much to do, so we decided to leave the parks around noon.
It was an awesome time (except being sick) and I totally enjoyed it.
