I decided Thursday morning to pack my bags and head to Los Angeles that same night. But it was only possible because my roommate from the Orientations was able to offer me a place to sleep at her host families house.
18.December 2015
I left my host families house around 1am, parked the car at the airport and left Phoenix on a bus around 4am. After a “quick” drive we arrived in Los Angeles around 10am. In Los Angeles I met up with another Au Pair (Sarah), who was in LA by herself as well.
After a small lunch we headed to the Walk of Fame, where we ended up buying a ticket for one of the Sightseeing Tour Bus Companies. We walked along the Walk of Fame for a bit before we hoped on one of the buses and headed to Santa Monica Pier. After a little bit of people watching, we each went our way to our accommodation, where we only went to sleep.
19.December 2015
After a nice breakfast at my friends places we headed back to LA, where I met with Sarah again. We started our adventure at the Venice Beach, before we headed back up to Hollywood. Although we spent most of the day in the bus to listen to all the information they had about things.
20.December 2015
After we met in the morning we headed straight up to Hollywood, where we walked along the Walk of Fame once again and went to Madame Tussauds. After we saw the Hollywood Sign from the distance it was time to say good bye and I headed back to the bus station to take the bus back to Phoenix.
