A day in Disneyland – Reunion with my Family (Vacation #2)

For one day I got to show my family the happiest place on earth and the smiles on their face just wouldn’t stop.

Our day started at 7am, so we would have enough time to get ready and choose from the small breakfast buffet. We went to get our backpacks from the room before we headed over to Disneyland at 8:30 and got straight into the park and be with all the crazy ones when they let down the ropes. It was super fun to watch them run like crazy, as if they were gonna die.

We ate a small lunch at one of the Fast-Food-Restaurants and then headed to the other side of the park. We got a Fastpass for Splash mountain and spent the waiting time at the Winnie Pooh ride and then decided to get into the Single Rider Line of Splash Mountain, we thought we were quick, but it turned out it took us over an hour until we were back at our parents.

My parents went to take a break at the hotel, while we met with all the Disney Princesses. We decided to take the Indiana Jones Ride, but despite being in Single Rider Line we had to get out of the line, because the ride got stopped and we had reservations for dinner at Goofey’s Kitchen.

Dinner at Goffeys Kitchen was so much fun and it was awesome to see how much fun my parents and my sister had meeting all those characters. We didn’t rush ourselves on the way back to the park, but still made it in time to see the parade and the firework. Since we weren’t crazy enough to safe spots for that in the afternoon, we asked one of the cast members and they said, that you can see both video and firework at It’s A Small World, just not as synchronized as on the castle. After all these shows my parents headed back to the hotel, while my sister and I wanted to get on some more rides. We thought we would hit Peter Pans Flight first, but quickly realized that those people that were in line before the firework were in designated area. So we decided to just go wherever the flow of the mass would take us, which was Peter Pan’s Flight and we only had a 15min wait. We even got to go on Indiana Jones on our second attempt and after a nice Dole Ice Cream and some pictures in front of the castle we headed to the hotel as well.
